and Engineering operational challenges, assumed the administration
of this Nursing Home.

MJN Inc provided a review and analysis of the K-Bro Cumberland
Laundry to determine its operational efficiency, overall costs,
and likelihood for improvement.
The project resulted in a recommendation to terminate the contract
with the private sector supplier and to purchase the plant and equipment
for self-operation. The Laundry Board and the Ministry of Health
accepted the recommendations, and the organizations involved have
now acquired the assets to operate the Laundry.

servicing several communities and centres in Newfoundland
including Corner Brook, Stephenville, Stephenville Crossing and
Port aux Basques. Customers were visited, sites inspected, and a
number of systems, including transportation and workflow, were reviewed
and analyzed.
The Board of Directors of the Laundry endorsed the final report.
